Patient File Notes


Patient File notes can be added to keep track of a patient's billing record, to record to-do notes, or to indicate to a user special circumstances that might affect the patient's file.

Although file notes can be recorded automatically whenever patient statements and bills are printed, they can also be added manually.

To add your own file note manually, follow the directions below:

1. From the Patient Information screen, click on the File Notes button. The following screen will appear:

2. Click the Add button and type the note you wish to record to the patient file.

3. The date will automatically be linked to the file note, so there is no need to type one in.

4. After you have finished, click OK. The file note will save to the patient's file. To edit or delete a note, highlight it and then click Edit or Delete.

5. To print the file notes click on the Print icon.
